HOA in a Box is committed to ensuring that our website and platform are accessible to people with disabilities. We believe compliance tools should work for everyone who relies on them, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build software.

1. Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard widely referenced by accessibility laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

2. Measures we take

  • Semantic, structured HTML with appropriate landmarks and heading order.
  • Keyboard accessibility for interactive elements, with visible focus indicators and a logical focus order.
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG AA in both light and dark modes.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for controls.
  • Respect for user preferences, including reduced-motion settings, so animations do not cause discomfort.
  • Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) as part of our development process, alongside manual review.

3. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we actively monitor include third-party components, complex data tables, and embedded content that we do not fully control. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
