Forum
A forum that belongs to the association
It stays with the association when the neighbor who started it moves away. Only signed-in residents can see it, and past discussions are kept.

General, recommendations, buy and sell, or whatever the board chooses.

Pin the summer social to the top, and lock a thread once a discussion has run its course.

Posting a meeting gives residents notice, and the minutes are added to the document library afterward.
Ballots.
Residents vote in the portal, and the results are recorded.
Board elections.
Elections include candidate lists, proxies and one ballot per lot, cast by the owner.
Thank the neighbors who make a difference
Publish Yard of the Month and any other recognition you give. It stays on the site long after the month ends.
Residents can nominate.
Each household gets one vote and can't vote for its own home. There are no downvotes or "worst yard" lists, and the board makes the final choice.
Don't need a forum? Switch it off.
Every community feature can be turned off. The software is strict about record-keeping, but how social your community wants to be is up to you.
